‘When We Were Young’ will act as the theme song in the new upcoming feature film adaptation of The Three Musketeers, which will premiere in the United Kingdom on October 14, 2011.

The official music video was released on July 14, 2011. It was shot in black and white and features Take That performing the single inside an empty Wembley Stadium of their Progress Live tour, over two nights after the fans had got home.

The official Olympic Torch Relay song ‘Spinnin For 2012′ was originally written and recorded by 2009 Mercury Prize winner Speech Debelle. The song was re-written by Tinchy and Bromfield and was released as a single on iTunes on 29th July.

Bromfield is the goddaughter of Amy Winehouse. Last week she was joined on stage by Winehouse at London’s Roundhouse, in what was to be the troubled singer’s last live performance.

The 2012 Summer Olympic Games are scheduled to take place in London, United Kingdom, from 27 July to 12 August 2012.

Song Information

The entire 11-minute music video was shot in the Stade de France, during half-time of the football match between France and Croatia, with the participation of many of the 80,000 fans in the stadium. In the video, Solveig comes into the stadium with a majorette, sings on the tape Ready 2 Go, then begins to dance. Stump said his relationship with the rapper goes back several years. “Before Food & Liquor came out he and I were talking about working on something together. I ended up producing the song ‘Little Weapon,’ for his The Cool record,” he said. “I actually wrote the hook for ‘This City’ with him in mind before I decided to use it for Soul Punk, so when the label asked me if I’d be interested in doing a remix with an MC he was the only real way I’d say yes.” He also added “I’m kind of pop but a little left of center, It sounds kind of like it makes sense on the radio but at the same time doesn’t at all. It’s very me.”
